OREANDA-NEWS  Hundreds of Russians heading to Thailand were stuck at Yekaterinburg airport for 12 hours. EAN writes about this.

An unforeseen situation occurred with passengers flying from a Russian city to the popular Thai resort of Phuket. It was expected that the liner would leave for the Asian country at 04:20 on Monday, May 13 (02:20 Moscow time). However, the flight had to be postponed to 16:30 (14:30 Moscow time).

According to the newspaper, the reason for the long delay of the flight was its late arrival at the airport. The Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office has already started checking the incident. "390 passengers are scheduled for the flight, 23 of them minors, and no disabled citizens have been declared," the press service of the department told EAN.

Earlier, an Azimut airline plane flying to St. Petersburg abruptly changed course and landed in another city. The incident happened with a Sukhoi Superjet 100 en route to the Northern capital from Sochi. During the flight, the pilots reported a sick passenger on board.
