OREANDA-NEWS  In the early summer of 2024, demand for smart gadgets for the home increased in Russia. Water leakage sensors have become the most popular product category, and the cities with the most "smart" apartments are Voronezh, Yekaterinburg and St. Petersburg. 

Demand for products in the "Water leak sensors" category increased by 161 percent in June compared to July last year. Residents of Voronezh (plus 250 percent), Krasnodar (plus 250 percent), Yekaterinburg (plus 188 percent), St. Petersburg (plus 145 percent) and Moscow (plus 108 percent) were most interested in the product.

Smart lighting devices came in second place (an increase of 54 percent). The third place in the early summer of 2024 was taken by "smart" electrics. Demand for goods in this category increased by 34 percent. Demand for smart switches has also increased (nine percent). Residents of St. Petersburg (plus 139 percent) and Voronezh (plus 100 percent) were most interested in them.

Earlier it became known about the growing demand for equipment for caring for the garden, plants and land. Russians began to be most actively interested in cultivators, electric saws and lawn mowers.
