OREANDA-NEWS. Shvabe Holding has obtained unique rights to use its own trademark in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

The registration of the trademark in DPRK in the Latin alphabet according to 16 classes of the International classification of goods and services will enable Shvabe not only to deal with sales of various medical,geodesic, light engineering and optical devices (more than 6,500 names) but also render various services, e.g. industrial analysis, processing of materials, organization of academic process, etc.

"The first business contacts of our enterprises with DPRK began as long ago as in the Soviet years. Since that time we have supplied various optical devices to this country, e.g. binocujlars,microscopes, telescopes. At present, first of all, we refer medical and light engineering equipment to prospecting directions of cooperation", told Anatoliy Sludnykh,Shvabe JSC's deputy general director for sales, international economic activity, and marketing.
