OREANDA-NEWS Wildberries demanded that Vladislav Bakalchuk's WB Development project company return 42 billion rubles that were allocated for the construction of logistics facilities. This is reported with reference to the press service of RVB (the combined company of Wildberries and Russ).reports TASS.

The company stated that Bakalchuk's firm was unable to account for the financing received.

"There is every reason to believe that the money was withdrawn from WB Development on the personal instructions of Vladislav Bakalchuk," the RVB said.

The company filed a lawsuit with the Moscow City Arbitration Court to recover unjustified enrichment, losses and interest for using other people's money. RVB shared plans to sue WB Development for non-fulfillment of its obligations by the project company back in September 2024. Later, the marketplace unilaterally terminated contracts with Bakalchuk's company and entered into agreements with another company of the group, which now acts as a technical customer for the construction of logocenters.

In February, Wildberries LLC filed a lawsuit to recover 712.9 million rubles from WB Development LLC, owned by Vladislav Bakalchuk. The plaintiff's claims are related to the non-payment of a loan that has expired.
