OREANDA-NEWS. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on the introduction of a visa-free regime for UK citizens for a period of one year. The corresponding document appeared on Thursday on the website of the head of state.
"Introduce for the period from January 31, 2020 to January 30, 2021 a visa-free regime of entry to Ukraine and transit through the territory of Ukraine for citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, if their stay in Ukraine doesn't exceed 90 days for 180 days", in the decree.
Visa-free entry for the British to Ukraine, as well as for all citizens of the EU countries, was introduced back in 2005. However, this rule will cease to apply from February 1, 2020, when the UK leaves the EU.
