OREANDA-NEWS Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky believes that the return to their homeland of Ukrainian sailors arrested in Russia can be a step to resume normal dialogue.

According to him, during a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin, he said that he supported the exchange of prisoners with Donbas militias according to the formula “all at all”, stressing that he would first like to return the citizens of Ukraine arrested in Russia. Zelensky suggested starting with the sailors.

At the same time, the Ukrainian president added that the format of the exchange according to the “all for all” formula is complicated by the fact that the lists of the parties do not coincide.
