OREANDA-NEWS  Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said he did not understand how former US President Donald Trump could be on Vladimir Putin's side. His words are transmitted by CNN.

In a conversation with a journalist, Zelensky added that Trump does not know Putin because he did not fight with him. "The American army has never fought with the Russian army. Never. I understand better," Zelensky added.

Vladimir Zelensky also believes that by choosing Russia instead of supporting Ukraine, Trump will be "against the Americans," adding that the promise of the former US president to end the conflict in one day is due to a misunderstanding of the goals of the Russian president.

Earlier, speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Vladimir Zelensky invited Trump to go with him to the front line to look at the "real war."
