OREANDA-NEWS. If the migration crisis worsens, Warsaw is considering the possibility of completely closing traffic across the Polish-Belarusian border. The press secretary of the Polish government Piotr Müller warned Minsk about such a threat, TASS reports.

“We send information to the Belarusian authorities that such a threat exists if the Belarusian authorities do not stop their activities,” the politician stressed. According to him, the Polish side has not yet received any response from the official Minsk.

Earlier it became known that a Russian citizen, as well as a citizen of Sweden and a citizen of Lithuania, were detained in Poland on suspicion of aiding illegal migrants who break into the country from Belarus. This was reported by the Polish Border Guard Service.

On the night of November 10, two large groups of migrants broke through the border of Belarus and Poland. Some illegal immigrants were returned to the border line within the first hours. Subsequently, the Polish security forces detained everyone who broke through to the territory of the republic.

Another aggravation of the situation with migrants began after a group of refugees from the Middle East gathered on the Belarusian-Polish border on November 8 and tried to overcome the fence. The Polish government has estimated the size of the group at three to four thousand people. In Warsaw, they claim that the camp of migrants is guarded by Belarusian security forces.
