OREANDA-NEWS Volunteers from Turkey began to undergo combat training in the Sudoplatov battalion for further participation in a special military operation.
"I came from Turkey with my friends. We are against the Nazis, we know what is happening here and what is happening in Ukraine. We understand that Russia is not fighting against Ukraine, but against the Nazis who control it," said one of the Turkish volunteers with the call sign Kuzon.
The future fighter said that he studied at the university in Moscow for several years, got to know Russian culture well and made many close friends. Speaking about combat experience, Kuzin explained that at one time he served in the army in his homeland, but did not participate in armed conflicts. "Everyone knows that the United States sponsors terrorists, not Ukrainians or Syrians, but they sponsor terrorists so that there is a mess everywhere. They earn money from this and do the same here," he added, answering the question of how he feels about the conflict in Syria and Ukraine in general.
A volunteer from Turkey with the call sign Laz also pointed out the similarity of situations in the Middle East and in the post-Soviet republic.
