OREANDA-NEWS  President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky wanted to go for a second presidential term. This information was reported by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Geo Leros on his Facebook page.

According to him, Zelensky spoke about his desire to run for a second presidential term during the celebration of his birthday on January 25. He told about his intention to his inner circle.

In January, Zelenskiy's electoral rating fell to a record low - only 13.4 percent of citizens of the country are ready to vote for a politician. The second line in the list of political sympathies of Ukrainians was taken by the former president of the country Petro Poroshenko, 10.6 percent of residents are ready to vote for him.

At the end of 2020, the wife of the President of Ukraine, Elena Zelenskaya, said that her husband had not yet discussed with her the idea of ​​going for a second presidential term. According to her, if he nevertheless makes such a decision to go for a second term, it will mean that he has not finished something he started and is going to complete this business.
