US May Soon Announce a $5 Billion Fine for Facebook

OREANDA-NEWS Facebook's social network will pay $5 billion for violations in the United States.
This week, the Federal Trade Commission will report on reaching an agreement with the social network about the possibility of paying compensation due to irregularities during the processing of users' personal data.
Earlier, The Wall Street Journal noted that the agreement was supported by three out of five representatives of the commission.
The Federal Trade Commission began investigating the Facebook case last spring. The reason for this was the message of the transfer of information 87 million people of the company from the UK Cambridge Analytics.
