OREANDA-NEWS Scientists have found unusual mushrooms in the Russian forest for the first time. The corresponding publication appeared on the page of the Zigalga National Park, located in the Chelyabinsk region, on the VKontakte social network.

We are talking about rare "deer horns" — yellow ramaria. This mushroom is listed in the Red Book of Russia and is considered conditionally edible. "It also has inedible counterparts, so it's not worth collecting it. Moreover, deer horns are a rarity for our forests," the authors of the post clarified.

At the same time, it is known that "deer horns" are found in the Far East, the Caucasus, as well as in the Crimea, Karelia, Western and Eastern Siberia. In the forests of the listed regions, they can be seen in August-September.
