OREANDA-NEWS.Mark Field, a Foreign Office minister, has been suspended after he was filmed beating a woman. It was a Greenpeace activist whose neck he grabbed. The politician said the cause of his actions was the alleged weapon. He said the woman passed by him and he thought she was armed.


He was preparing to make a statement about the climate crisis when the protectors prevented and interrupted him.


The prime minister spokeswoman said Field will be suspended till the end of the investigation. Mark himself already apologized to the Greenpeace activist.
