U.S. and NATO Will Practice Responding to Biochemical and Nuclear Threats at African Lion-2022

OREANDA-NEWS The United States will hold an international military exercise African Lion-2022 in Africa, more than 7,500 troops will take part in it, Defense Blog reports, according to Gazeta.ru.
It is noted that exercises will be held in Morocco, Ghana, Senegal and Tunisia. Military personnel from the US, Brazil, Chad, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK will take part in them.
It is reported that African Lion-2022 will include combined arms exercises with live fire, performance of tasks at sea, air exercises with the participation of bombers. Also, the military will practice responding to chemical, biological and nuclear threats.
Earlier it was reported that NATO will hold military exercises in Turkey amid the controversy over the admission of Sweden and Finland into NATO. They will take place from June 20 to 28 at the 3rd main jet base in the town of Konya. On the eve the two-week long naval maneuvers of NATO BALTOPS-22 began in the Baltic Sea with the participation of Finland and Sweden, who declared their intention to join the alliance.
