OREANDA-NEWS. Two Eurofighter fighters of the Bundeswehr collided in air and crashed in a northern part of Germany. By data, collision happened in the German federal Land of Mecklenburg — Front Pomerania.

According to messages of the Air Force of Germany, pilots managed to catapult. As transfers N-TV TV channel, one of pilots was found live on the place of the crash. The representative of the Ministry of Defence of the country Jörg Schröder said that search operation is conducted. The second pilot is meanwhile not found.
