OREANDA-NEWS. US President Donald Trump changed his permanent residence from New York to Florida due to the "bad attitude" of local politicians towards him. He wrote about this in Twittter.
"1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the White House, is the place I have come to love and will stay for, hopefully, another 5 years as we MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, but my family and I will be making Palm Beach, Florida, our Permanent Residence. I cherish New York, and the people of", wrote Trump. The President noted that this decision was hard for him.
Earlier, the American media, citing documents, said that Trump and his family changed their permanent residence. Prior to this, the official residence was the Trump Tower in Manhattan, where he moved in 1983.
The documents also indicated other places of residence, namely the address of the White House (1600 Pennsylvania Avenue) and the golf club in Bedminster (New Jersey), where, according to the publication, he spends several weeks every summer. In the White House, the American media refused to comment on Trump's legal move, but a source close to the president said this was due to taxes.
