Trump Intends to Sign a Decree on Temporary Suspension of Immigration to the United States

OREANDA-NEWS. US President Donald Trump announced on April 21 that, in connection with the new coronavirus pandemic, he intends to temporarily suspend immigration to the United States.
"In light of the attack from the Invisible Enemy, as well as the need to protect the jobs of our GREAT American Citizens, I will be signing an Executive Order to temporarily suspend immigration into the United States!" - wrote the head of the Washington administration on his Twitter.
The American president did not provide any other details. According to Johns Hopkins University, which makes calculations based on summaries of US authorities, the World Health Organization and other official sources, more than 786 thousand cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in the United States. Over 42 thousand people died.
