OREANDA-NEWS.A strong fire broke out on Friday morning June 21 at the refinery Philadelphia Energy Solutions, located in southern Philadelphia.


Residents of the districts in the immediate vicinity of the plant also heard a series of explosions. In the fight against fire involved crews of several dozen fire trucks. Information on possible victims is not yet provided.


The plant is owned by the oil company Sunoco, which is headquartered in Philadelphia.
