OREANDA-NEWS   The message that the Taiwanese people will always remember this gesture appeared on the official Twitter account after the US authorities announced about the donation.

The day before, on the page of the Bureau of East Asia and Pacific Affairs of the US Department of State, a message appeared that the US would donate 2.5 million doses of vaccine to Taiwan. After that, the press secretary of the US State Department, Ned Price, wrote that his department was happy to support the help that President Joe Biden had promised to provide to the world. In addition, the White House National Security Council published a post that Taiwan helped the United States during the epidemic by providing personal protective equipment and other equipment. “We are proud to be able to support Taiwan when it needs it”, -  added the National Security Council.

The vaccines donated by the United States arrived in Taiwan on June 20 aboard an aircraft from Taiwan's China Ailrines.
