The United States lifted sanctions against Russian businessman Fisun

OREANDA-NEWS The United States has lifted sanctions imposed on Russian businessman Alexei Fisun for his participation in the management of Sovcombank, according to a publication by the American Ministry of Finance.
The agency reported that it had excluded two mentions of Alexey Leonidovich Fisun, born in 1965, from the sanctions list of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
Sanctions were imposed against him on March 24, 2022. The entrepreneur was on the list of Sovcombank executives, whom the American authorities considered "elites close to Russian President Vladimir Putin."
