OREANDA-NEWS  The Donbass front began to collapse due to the serious onslaught of the Russian army, fatigue of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and lack of reserves. This was stated by Ukrainian Colonel-General Dmitry Marchenko in an interview with former Verkhovna Rada deputy Borislav Bereza.

"I will not reveal a military secret if I say that the front has collapsed. People are very tired, they just don't pull out the fronts they are on," the military commander said.

He also named three factors that caused the front to collapse. According to him, this was influenced by a shortage of ammunition and weapons, a shortage of people and a lack of replenishment, as well as "management imbalance."

Earlier, Julian Repke, an analyst at the German newspaper Bild, reported on the collapse of the Ukrainian front in the south of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). "We are talking about the loss of two to five kilometers per day. At this rate, Russia will need six months to get to the Dnieper region," he said.
