The tenth person involved in the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall has been arrested

OREANDA-NEWS The Basmanny Court of Moscow, at the request of the investigation, sent Yakubjoni Yusufzoda, the tenth person involved in the criminal case of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow, under arrest, an Interfax correspondent reported.
"To choose a preventive measure against the accused Yusufzoda in the form of detention for a period up to May 22, 2024," Judge Natalia Dudar said in the ruling.
Yusufzoda was charged with committing a terrorist act that caused the death of a person by an organized group (paragraph "b" of part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The meeting at the request of the investigator was held in a closed mode from the audience due to the need to preserve the secrecy of the investigation and ensure the safety of the participants in the process.
As follows from the information announced in court, Yusufzoda is a 25–year-old native of Tajikistan with Tajik citizenship. In Moscow, he previously had a temporary registration, worked unofficially as a handyman. He is married and has three children, including minors.
Yusufzoda needed the help of an interpreter in court.
As reported, the Presnensky Court of Moscow on March 26 arrested Yusufzoda for 12 days for disobeying the police. As follows from the court's ruling, Yusufzoda was detained on March 25 during an operational preventive measure "Illegal".
According to the resolution, Yusufzoda "at the sight of a patrol car, began to change the trajectory of movement, accelerated his step, tried to hide at the demands of police officers to stop," and "during arrest he actively resisted, refused to provide identification documents, also categorically refused to comply with the requirement of a police officer to proceed to an official vehicle."
The detention of Yusufozoda in the framework of the criminal case of the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall was reported on Monday by the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
As stated in the TFR, according to the investigation, a few days before the terrorist attack, the defendant "transferred funds to the accomplice through his bank card to ensure the residence of terrorists." Some of the funds were transferred to one of the perpetrators after the commission of the crime, the investigation found.
On the evening of March 22, before the start of the Picnic concert, several men broke into Crocus City Hall and opened fire on visitors and staff. There was a fire in the building. According to the latest data, the death toll in the terrorist attack in the roll-call list of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia is 144 people.
On the afternoon of March 23, the Kremlin's press service reported that the director of the FSB of Russia, Alexander Bortnikov, reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin about the detention of 11 people, including all four terrorists directly involved in the terrorist attack.
Prior to Yusufzoda's arrest, nine defendants were arrested in the case, including four, according to investigators, direct perpetrators.
