OREANDA-NEWS  The Uruguayan chain of stores accidentally revealed the release date of the GTA VI video game. The 80LV edition drew attention to this.

Media journalists noticed that a page with a new part of Grand Theft Auto appeared on the website of the retailer XUruguay. It says that the store sells a version of the title for PlayStation 5 consoles. The description also says that the game will be released on September 17, 2025.

After some time, the mention of the exact date was removed from the website of the store located in Montevideo. However, the page with the game and the product description were left: "Grand Theft Auto VI is heading for the state of Leonid, where the neon-lit streets of Vice City and its surroundings are located."

At the end of 2023, the publisher of GTA Take-Two games indicated that the title would appear in the fall of 2025, but did not specify the release date. Also during the announcement, the game developers showed the first GTA VI trailer.

80LV journalists noted that, according to their information, the XUruguay store chain has the right to sell PlayStation consoles in Uruguay and theoretically can know the release date of the long-awaited game. However, a specific date could have been installed on the site as a "stub".

In mid-January, Epyllion analyst Matthew Ball stated that the new part of the Grand Theft Auto game should cost $80-100. In his opinion, in this case GTA VI will have a big impact on the video game market and will allow developers to earn more on their products.
