OREANDA-NEWS Russia and Serbia are discussing security threats related to military supplies to Ukraine. This was stated by Deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Grushko, RIA Novosti reports.

"The exchange of assessments of threats to the security of the parties is an integral part of the political dialogue between Russia and Serbia. Of course, this also applies to issues of military supplies," the diplomat said.

Earlier, the Financial Times newspaper reported that hundreds of millions of weapons exported by Serbia could have entered Ukraine. According to the publication, the country's president, Alexander Vucic, indirectly confirmed that the amount of weapons supplied to Ukraine and previously exported by Serbia could amount to $ 800 million.

Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov stressed that Russia will verify information about the alleged supply of some Serbian ammunition sold to Western countries to Ukraine and will be in contact with Belgrade on this issue.
