OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian Embassy has sent a note to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the transit of Russian tourists to Latin America in connection with their non-admission to flights. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, TASS reports.

"The Russian Embassy in Turkey is monitoring the situation regarding Russian tourists. The note sent by the embassy to the Turkish Foreign Ministry on this occasion, according to the confirmation of the Turkish side, is being carefully studied," Zakharova said.

Earlier, Russian Consul General in Istanbul Andrey Buravov said that the diplomatic mission appealed to the Turkish Foreign Ministry due to the fact that Russians were massively stopped from entering Latin America from Turkey. It is clarified that over the past month the number of such cases has reached thousands.
