OREANDA-NEWS Warsaw has invited international experts who will investigate the incident of the fall of missiles on its territory. This was stated by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki following a special meeting of the Council of Ministers.
"We are working to establish all the causes of what happened and everything that happened with international experts, whom we invited to a group of our experts and investigators," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
In addition, he noted that police officers and special services have been put on high alert in the country, as well as monitoring of the airspace together with the allied states has been strengthened.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the statements of the Polish media and officials about the alleged fall of "Russian" missiles in the area of the settlement of Przevodow is a deliberate provocation in order to escalate the situation. The Defense Ministry noted that Russian weapons of destruction did not strike targets near the Ukrainian-Polish border. According to the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the footage from the scene in Przevodow, which was distributed by the Polish media, has nothing to do with Russian weapons of destruction.
