OREANDA-NEWS.The PSN vulnerability allows hackers to acquire games without knowing the credit card security code. 

For this scammers a PlayStation account with the information about previous purchases is needed. The report says that this is an exploit related to the network, not the console. Despite the fact that any purchase is accompanied by a CVV request, it is enough for hackers to create a fake payment, which will automatically become the main method of payment. 

This vulnerability has been known for more than five years. Users reported hacking on Twitter, on Reddit, and even publish videos on how to exploit this vulnerability. Players are trying to attract attention to the problem of Sony, but unsuccessfully so far. 

The company has not yet given official comments.
