OREANDA-NEWS Difficulties in the online sale of prescription drugs during the experiment have not yet arisen, preliminary results are very successful, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko told RIA Novosti.

Since March, an experiment on the remote sale of prescription drugs has been launched in Moscow, Belgorod and Moscow regions, it will last until March 1, 2026. The list of drugs allowed for remote sale includes 904 international nonproprietary names, drugs of various therapeutic groups. 

"There are no difficulties yet. The experiment is going on normally... So far, it is possible to evaluate the results very successfully," Murashko said.

He noted that all regulatory issues for the implementation of this experiment have been resolved, but it has not gained much momentum yet. According to Murashko, it takes time for both patients and the medical community to adapt to this form.
