OREANDA-NEWS The Ministry of Health coordinates medical support at the World Youth Festival in Sirius, with more than 1,000 doctors working at the event, said Alexei Kuznetsov, Assistant Minister of Health of Russia.

"The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation coordinates the medical support of the World Youth Festival 2024... Taking into account the reserve, 10 medical centers, 15 mobile medical teams, 21 ambulance teams in the perimeter and 8 NSR teams outside the perimeter are involved at the festival facilities to provide the airport, railway stations, hotels for accredited persons," Kuznetsov told reporters.

He clarified that the total number of medical personnel with two shifts is more than 1,000 people, as well as 100 medical volunteers. Seven authorized medical organizations have been put on alert, a reserve of beds has been created, Kuznetsov noted.

The World Youth Festival will be held from March 1-7 in the federal territory of Sirius by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The organizer of the festival is Rosmolodezh. RIA Novosti is the general information partner of the World Youth Festival 2024.
