OREANDA-NEWS   The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported the death of 63 Russian servicemen as a result of an AFU strike from the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) at the location of Russian servicemen in Makeyevka. This was reported to journalists on Monday in the department.

As noted in the Ministry of Defense, Ukraine in the area of Makeyevka struck a point of temporary deployment of a unit of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with six MLRS HIMARS manufactured by the United States. "As a result of the defeat of four missiles with a high-explosive head part of the temporary deployment point, 63 Russian servicemen were killed," the report says.

The ministry stressed that two HIMARS rockets were shot down by the air defense of the Russian Federation.
