OREANDA-NEWS The Russian Defense Ministry announced the preparation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) of a provocation with chlorine in Nikolaevka, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced by the head of the National Defense Control Center of Russia Mikhail Mizintsev, RIA Novosti reports.

According to Mizintsev, according to available information, Ukrainian forces are preparing a provocation with the use of toxic substances in Nikolaevka. In particular, for this purpose, containers with liquid chlorine with a total volume of more than 6000 liters were brought and mined to the pumping and filtration station of the Slavyanskaya TPP.

In addition, in some cities, the Armed Forces of Ukraine place weapons near chemical enterprises. So, in Nikolaev positions of artillery and MLRS were equipped on the territory of the UkrHimTransAmmiak plant. At the Kharkiv Himprom enterprise in Kharkiv, theroborona units are located and heavy weapons are placed. In Odessa, near the Odessa Port Refrigerator, Ukrainian troops deployed armored vehicles and large-caliber artillery.

On July 5, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Armed Forces of Russia had struck at the location of foreign mercenaries near the settlement of Limany in the Mykolaiv region.
