The largest national exhibition Made in Russia has opened in Shanghai

OREANDA-NEWS The China International Import Expo (CIIE) started its work on Sunday in Shanghai, where its products are supported by the Russian Export Center (VEB.66 Russian companies are represented as part of a large-scale national exposition under the Made in Russia brand, the REC reports in the Telegram channel.
"In honor of the opening of the CIIE, Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a letter to the participants of the exhibition, in which he stressed its importance for the development of cooperation and trade relations between China and other countries. The Made in Russia exposition was visited by the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Vasily Osmakov and the trade representative of Russia in China Alexey Dahnovsky," the message reads.
It is added that the Russian exposition in 2023 is twice as large as in the previous one. Its area reaches 1,7 thousand square meters, and it is located in 6 pavilions: "Food and agricultural products", "Consumer goods - souvenirs", "Consumer goods - cosmetics and household chemicals", "Medicine and healthcare", "Technologies and IT" and "Services".
The number of exhibitors has also doubled. In particular, Russian agricultural companies present confectionery and chocolate, butter, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages of well-known brands and other food products to Chinese partners. Guests of the exhibition can also appreciate Russian cosmetics, dietary supplements, medical products and household chemicals, as well as souvenirs made of wood, amber and mammoth tusk and much more.
Also at the Made in Russia stand, domestic high-tech solutions for industry, software and services of logistics companies and tour operators are presented.
CIIE runs until November 10th. In addition to product presentations and b2b negotiations, the rich program for the participants of the Made in Russia exposition includes practice-oriented events with the participation of business circles and Chinese authorities.
The Russian Export Center has been supporting the participation of domestic companies in the China International Import Expo since its foundation in 2018.
