OREANDA-NEWS. Spain is ready to continue to work with Russia to strengthen bilateral relations. The corresponding statement was made on Tuesday by King Philip VI at the reception of the diplomatic corps in Madrid.

“Our relations with Russia continue to strengthen in all areas: economic, political and cultural”, the head of state said. “And we will continue to work together in this direction”. "We consider it a priority to maintain and expand better relations with the United States", the monarch added.

Philip VI also expressed support for the PRC in connection with the spread of a new type of coronavirus in the country. “I want to convey to the friendly people of China, on behalf of the Government of Spain and the Spanish people, as well as myself and the Queen, our most sincere solidarity and support at this especially difficult moment”, the head of state added.

“Spain very much appreciates the most important efforts made by the Chinese government measures to achieve effective crisis management that affects us all".
