OREANDA-NEWS Three award-winning pistols by Yevgeny Prigozhin were exhibited at the Military Historical Museum of Artillery on the Kronverkskaya Embankment in St. Petersburg. 

Two of the three pistols, according to the publication, were presented to Prigozhin by the Secretary of the Security Council and former Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. Shoigu presented Beretta and Glock pistols to Prigozhin in 2015 and 2018, another pistol went to the ex-head of the Wagner PMCs from the President of Sudan.

The exhibition of weapons in the museum is timed to coincide with the Day of the Gunsmith, which was celebrated in Russia on September 19. The weapons on display there were transferred to the museum by the Directorate of the Russian Guard in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region in 2024.

In October 2023, it was reported that Pavel Prigozhin, the son of the former head of the private security company Wagner, handed over the businessman's award-winning weapon to the police. Prigozhin's heir wanted to deposit three pistols with law enforcement agencies.
