The Czech Republic has banned airport transit without visas for Russian citizens

OREANDA-NEWS The Czech Republic has introduced an obligation for Russians to obtain an airport visa for transit through the airports of the republic. The Czech Foreign Ministry informed about this on its website on Tuesday.
The obligation to obtain an airport visa for transit has been introduced for Russians since November 21. Only if it is available, they will be able to stay in the transit zone of international airports on the territory of the republic.
This requirement does not apply to holders of Schengen visas; residence permits in the European Union and the European Economic Area, as well as in Japan, Canada and the USA; family members of EU citizens; diplomats and aircrew members who are citizens of States parties to the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
