OREANDA-NEWS   The CIS countries are gradually forming a common labor market, and the free trade zone operating in the commonwealth provides a favorable investment climate, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

As the head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta, people's standard of living always depends on the state of the economy, the employment situation, and the quality of the business environment. He stressed that the Russian Federation, together with its CIS colleagues, keep all these areas in the focus of constant attention.

"We are gradually forming a common labor market. Just the other day, an updated concept on this issue was adopted," Mishustin said.
He mentioned that the CIS has established an extensive system of sectoral cooperation bodies, including in industry, construction, agriculture, energy, transport, informatization and communications, in the field of scientific and technical cooperation and innovation, as well as in various areas of regulation.

"A favorable investment climate is provided by the free trade zone operating in the CIS. Since June of this year, this regime applies not only to goods, but also to services. Now there is a single standard for the protection of investors and their investments in the Commonwealth markets. All this helps to provide citizens with high-quality products and in-demand services," the Prime minister added.
