OREANDA-NEWS   The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended the ban on the import of goods from the Russian Federation until the end of next year, Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Goncharenko* (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist) said on Friday.

The Ukrainian authorities have banned any trade with Russia since February 2022. In December 2015, the Ukrainian government adopted a decree prohibiting the import of a wide range of Russian goods, both industrial and food.
"The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the ban on the import of goods from the Russian Federation to Ukraine until December 31, 2025," Goncharenko wrote in his Telegram channel.

As the Ukrainian edition of Slovo I Delo reminds, the list of prohibited goods since 2015 includes: cattle and poultry meat, pork, fish, dairy products, cheeses, coffee, tea, food mixtures, confectionery and bakery products, potatoes, baby food, pasta, sauces, flavorings and spices, beer, alcohol, vodka, cat and dog food, cigarettes with a filter, skin cleansers, insecticides, equipment for railway or tram tracks, diesel-electric locomotives.
