The Brazilian Air Force has completed the decoding of the "black boxes" of the plane that crashed near Aktau.

OREANDA-NEWS The Center for Investigation and Reporting of Aviation Accidents of the Brazilian Air Force has completed decoding the flight recorders of the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) aircraft that crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau, the Azerbaijani Report agency reports, citing the Brazilian G1 portal.
"The extraction, collection and verification of data from two recorders has been completed," G1 sources at the center said.
Another Brazilian publication, the newspaper O Globo, writes that the information obtained during the decryption of the "black boxes" has already been sent to the authorities of Kazakhstan.
The AZAL passenger plane, flying from Baku to Grozny, crashed on December 25, 2024 near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Of the 67 people on board, 38 died.
According to preliminary data, the plane crashed as a result of an external impact in the sky over Grozny.
