The American boxer confessed his love for Russia

OREANDA-NEWS American boxer Jason Havern confessed his love for Russia. The athlete, who flew to Moscow to fight Vyacheslav Datsik, told REN TV about this.
"I love Russia, Russian people are very cool. I like it here, I feel completely safe on the street. I've been coming here as a professional boxer for 21 years now. In the past, I was here with [Alexander] Povetkin," said Havern.
Havern will have a boxing match with Datsik on November 15. The 47-year-old boxer has 27 wins with 21 losses and 4 draws. In the past, he has faced Oleg Maskaev, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder in the ring.
In January 2024, another American boxer Kevin Johnson received Russian citizenship. Before that, the athlete changed his name in honor of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Johnson noted that his name would be Kevin Vladimirovich.
