OREANDA-NEWS  Spain needs to abandon the anti-Russian foreign policy course imposed by Washington and Brussels. This was stated by Russian Ambassador to Madrid Yuri Klimenko, RIA Novosti writes.

According to the diplomat, only in this case Madrid will be able to resume mutually beneficial cooperation with Russia. Currently, Klimenko noted, bilateral relations are at their lowest point and are experiencing the most crisis stage in modern history.

The Russian Ambassador stressed that Russia is always ready for dialogue if it is based on mutual respect and equality. At the same time, he admitted that he does not see any prerequisites for improving the situation in the near future.

Earlier, Yuri Klimenko said that the majority of Spaniards oppose the hybrid war waged by NATO against Russia.
