OREANDA-NEWS  The Thai authorities have agreed on the introduction of a 60-day visa-free regime for Russian citizens, it is expected that it will come into force on May 1, Thai News Agency reports.

"The Thai Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to introduce a visa-free regime for Russian tourists. Entry to the kingdom without a visa will be possible for 60 days," the message says.

In the autumn of 2023, the Thai authorities extended the period of visa-free stay of Russians from 30 to 90 days until April 30, 2024.
