OREANDA-NEWS  Switzerland has included 69 individuals and 86 structures in the sanctions lists for Russia, including businessmen, judges, the military, as well as companies related to the defense and trade sectors, the Swiss Ministry of Economy reports.

"The new sanctions are mainly directed against businessmen, representatives of the armed forces and judicial authorities, persons and FSB employees," the agency said in a press release.

It is noted that companies operating, in particular, in the Russian defense sector, as well as companies from the financial and trade spheres, also fell under sanctions.

In addition, Switzerland imposes restrictions on the activities of a number of Russian media, including Izvestia and Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

It is clarified that the sanctions come into force on Tuesday at 18:00 local time (19:00 Moscow time).

According to the document, Switzerland has included a total of 2.2 thousand people and companies in the sanctions lists for Russia.
