Media: The Ukrainian Armed Forces Consider Western Arms Not Effective Enough
It is noted that a couple of months ago, the AFU was actively using Western-made anti-tank systems and pointed out that the weapons performed well in ambushes. But the Javelin "did not become a panacea," and Ukrainians began to use them less because the systems were not always effective against tanks and were difficult to install.
According to one DNR commander, the German Panzerfaust 3 proved to be more convenient to use. The American Stinger, the British Starstreak and Martlet, and the Norwegian Mistral were also effective.
Earlier it was reported that Javelin APCs supplied by the United States to Ukraine were thought to be broken, until it turned out that they did not work because the Ukrainian military was translating their instructions using Google Translate.
