OREANDA-NEWS More than a hundred citizens of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be deported from Russia for a mass brawl at a construction site in Moscow. This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to Troitsky Court of the capital, Gazeta.ru reports.
According to the court, 107 decisions have been made to place the migrants in the Center for Temporary Detention of Foreign Citizens. They will spend there 90 days, after which they will be deported from Russia.
It was earlier reported that the conflict between the migrants occurred on April 1 at the construction site of the Moscow residential complex on the Shelepikhinskaya Embankment. The reason for the fight was allegedly the word "fool", with which a worker from Tajikistan called his colleague from Uzbekistan. After the incident, the brawlers were held administratively liable, and the police decided to reduce their term of stay in the country and deport them.
Abdullo Davlatov, chairman of the Union of Tajiks of Russia, told Gazeta.ru that he was surprised the conflict broke out at the beginning of Ramadan, the holy month for Muslims. He attributed the migrants' fight in Moscow to "tension over the ruble exchange rate.
