OREANDA-NEWS Russia's revenues from hydrocarbon exports in 2022 have doubled against the backdrop of trade restrictions. It was reported by the press service of the International Energy Agency, writes Bloomberg.
The agency noted that Russia continues to export raw materials, despite the desire of the European Union to impose a ban on imports. Supplies are also continuing despite statements by Shell and TotalEnergies about stopping purchases. Chinese and Indian companies are taking the place of these European companies.
At the same time, Moscow is enjoying an unforeseen financial gain compared to the first four months of 2021. The EU, as of April 2022, remains the largest market for raw material exports from Russia. The EU accounts for 43% of the country's exports.
Earlier Vladimir Putin said that the federal budget for the first four months of 2022 was executed with a surplus of 2.7 trillion rubles.
