OREANDA-NEWS The cessation of gas supplies by Gazprom to Shell Energy Europe due to non-payment in rubles has not affected the gas supply situation in Germany, Gazeta.ru reported.

The German agency indicated that the supply stoppage covers only small volumes. At present, the pipeline "Nord Stream - 1" transports 4% less gas than the day before, these volumes of gas are purchased elsewhere, the agency noted.

Earlier, "Gazprom" has confirmed a complete stoppage of gas supplies to the Danish company Orsted and Shell Energy Europe. The company said Gazprom has not received payment for gas supplied in April in rubles.
