OREANDA-NEWS The Spanish Government is preparing the first national civil protection plan in case of risks associated with military operations. This is reported by 20 Minutos, citing sources in the Interior Ministry of the country.

"In the context of escalating international military tensions, when Russia and Ukraine launch long—range missiles against each other, the Spanish government is preparing the first national civil protection plan aimed at countering the "military risk" in case the war affects Spanish territory," the article says.

The guidance in case of a possible military conflict is part of the second national civil protection strategy. According to the newspaper, the plan will be published soon.

It is noted that Spain has followed the example of Finland, Norway and Sweden, which have already begun distributing leaflets among their citizens with recommendations on overcoming the consequences of possible military actions.

Earlier it was reported that the Bundeswehr had prepared a secret plan for Operation Germany in case of a military conflict with Russia. The German Defense Ministry confirmed that Berlin has such a plan, but stressed that it was not developed in recent months, but was initiated and thought out several years before.
