OREANDA-NEWS South African authorities have published an official report of the independent commission on the case of the Russian vessel Lady R, which allegedly transported weapons for the Russian Federation.
The ship stayed at the base from December 6 to December 8, according to Brigitte, the United States is sure that it was allegedly "loaded with weapons and ammunition", after which it returned to Russia. Earlier it was reported that the enterprises of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) lack tens of billions of rubles for the construction of fishing vessels under the state program "quotas for keel". The main problem was the technical complexity of orders, the lack of competence in construction and sanctions that stopped the supply of Western equipment.
At the end of December last year, the All-Russian Association of Fisheries Enterprises, Entrepreneurs and Exporters (VARPE) came to the conclusion that, due to the scale of the problems, they would be able to expect a trial no earlier than in five to ten years.
