Prime Minister Pavel Filip today met new Ambassador of Romania to Moldova Daniel Ionita. The officials discussed the Moldovan-Romanian cooperation, degree of implementation of joint projects, cooperation on the international stage, with emphasis on Moldova-European Union ties.

Each THAAD system is comprised of five major components: interceptors, launchers, a radar, a fire control unit and support equipment, according to Lockheed Martin, the security and aerospace company that serves as the prime contractor for the equipment.
