OREANDA-NEWS  Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that the country will not provide military assistance to Ukraine. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Earlier, Politico suggested that the anti-Ukrainian position of the Slovak echelons of power could arise due to the fact that Fico was insulted by a cold reception in Kiev in 2009.

In October, the interim Government of Slovakia announced the termination of further military assistance to Ukraine. The decision was made against the background of negotiations on the formation of a coalition between parties that oppose the support of Kiev.
